My Mother was admitted to the Senior Care Unit for depression and dementia. She received the best of care and I can’t say enough about what a wonderful doctor she had. Dr. Kennedy turned her around and gave me my mother back. Her kindness, compassion, and expert care is unlike any we had previously experienced with other physicians. The CEO often came by during Visiting time to make sure we were satisfied! Please know this place is a true lifesaver. If you read this Brentwood please tell Dr. Kennedy she is appreciated and respected greatly.
I when there yesterday to visit my husband he says the beds are good the food is good and I like his counselor and therapist they gave us a really good ideas how to communicate with each other and his family however most of the nurses there are very rude and that should learn to still have respect for the patients there should not be so rude to them because my husband on the phone with me and I heard one of the nurses yelling at him and there are no times when they cannot talk on the phone so I do not know why they were responding to my husband like that but I do not appreciate it at all if nothing is done about this my husband never come there again or anyone else that I talk to.
My 12 year old son recently had severe anger issues that we couldn't get control of. He was sent to Brentwood (which is five hours from us). So far we have been so impressed with the help our son has gotten. We are called daily with medication changes, or to let us know they are staying the same. The counselor (Terrie) is wonderful and so helpful. She not only helps our son but gives me ideas on how to deal with outbursts. So far we have had a productive good stay!
🖤believe it or not this place actually did 😇me A LOT of GOOD when I went.🙌 GLORY BE TO GOD! 💯💂🇺🇸💃
My 13 yr old son was there. After reading all of these negative reviews I was so scared leaving him. Don't go with what surveys say because people are quick to point out negative and the ones who did have good experiences don't think about writing a review because they are at peace. My son came back a different person. The staff were amazing and always answered my questions thoroughly. I recommend this place to anyone. Good luck with all of your roads to recovery, this is the best place to start.
My son is there. I have had no problems with the hospital. My son is doing great and is treated well. His bed clothes and regular clothes are always clean. He said the food is good and we luv his counselor and psychiatrist.
I was intake for 10 days then came down with the flu got kicked out but came back to PHP program stayed at hotel it was great.... Group everyday was very helpful.
Staff was very friendly when I went. They did my assessment and told me I could either be admitted or use the outpatient program. I recommend to everyone.
Most of the staff makes you feel as though you aren't human They don't try to help you but, they do try to make you have emotional breakdowns to extend your stay
Loved it. I have gotten excellent care there and it has always been clean. My doc is the best!!
My son just left Brentwood in Shreveport today April 2, 2016. I think he has gotten the care he needed. He went in and in 5 days he came out a normal little boy again. He went in there for depression from being bullied in school and his ADHD. When he came out I have never seen so much confidence In my son. He is 6 years old. Thanks Brentwood for getting my son back on track and the tools to recovery.
